Small Sculpture & Historically Inspired Piece
This piece is inspired by ancient animal sculptures such as the one on the right, simple and obvious. So i emulated this but instead of a whale i made it one of my favorite animals, a frog, and per Ms. Thompsons suggestion i made it a functional garden ornament. It went very smoothly and i feel like I'm definitely improving at manipulating the clay how i want.
2 Pinch Pots put Together
This is my scrapped 2 pinch pots put together, it was very difficult to put them together without a seam, but once i got it i created a hole to try and make it a teapot and i really disliked it so i scrapped it. I would like to revisit this concept one day.
Pinch pot made into something useful
This is my pinch pot made into something useful and i honestly really like it. as you can see its being used as a pot for my moms plant addiction and it simple but good. I love the color and that its being used for a good purpose. it has many blemishes but as is the issue for handmade pieces, this is honestly on of my favorites.
Pinch Pot Cut in Half
This was my first pinch pot and I loved making it, the sides were pretty even and overall it was pretty good. not a whole lot to say about it, it was pretty fun though.
Relief Tile
This was my first attempt at a relief tile and i dont think i fully understood the assignment and i dont like it looking back on it. it was a fair concept just poor execution.
