Bust
My bust took me about 2.5 months to make and I learned a lot and it was by FAR my favorite piece I've made. It was a fun and educational experience as it took dedication and determination to work on 1 piece for such a length of time, there were flaws such as asymmetric shoulders, one side of the face has slightly more mass, and the nostrils are asymmetric. But despite these i love this piece and it taught me a lot about clay manipulation and artistic creation.
Hands
After the exploration of human features i decided to take that interest further and create sculptures of hands, each one respectively took a few weeks and I learned that the thing that connected these project and made me especially skilled and interested in them is that they are tangible and easily referenced things to sculpt as I can just look at my hand or look at those around me and attempt to recreate.
